The Message - The Story of Islam

I just found this old movie that I've missed so much to watch. 

So instead of watch it alone, I decided to watch together with hubby. Alhamdulillah karena sering bantuin hubby belajar agama, jadinya ikutan belajar juga setiap hari, yang insyaAllah menambah iman dan takwa. Aminnn.

Bukan berarti tinggal di Barat kita jadi kebarat-baratan, alhamdulillah semakin semangad berjuang yang notabene disini susah, cari mesjid aja susah :( sadly di Indonesia yang majority muslim malah pola hidupnya ke barat-baratan en hedonis berat. Semoga kembali menuju rahmat Allah SWT. Aminnn

Back to the movie, film nya bercerita tentang kisah Nabi Muhammad SAW (Peace Be UponHim) dari pertama menerima wahyu dari Allah SWT sampai perjuangannya menyebarkan agama Islam dan akhir hayat beliau secara garis besar. The story start in Mecca in the 7th century, Muhammad SAW is visited by a vision of the Angel Gabriel (Jibril) who urges him to lead the people of Mecca to cast aside the 300 idols of Kaaba and worship to the one true God, speaking out against the corrupt political and military leaders who rule Mecca. During his struggling, Muhammad SAW keep remind his followers that He is only a man who received the word from Allah SWT and reveal it to man.

Hamza: Mohammed, when I hunt the desert at night, I know God is not kept in a house.

In accordance with Muslim beliefs regarding depictions of Muhammad SAW , he was not depicted on-screen nor was his voice heard. This rule extended to his wives, his daughters, his sons-in-law, and his caliphs (Abu Bakr As-Siddique, Alī ibn Abī Ṭālib, Umar ibn Khattab, Uthman ibn Affan), when you see another actor make dialogue to camera, it portray that they speak to Muhammad SAW (PBUH). Whenever Muhammad was present or very close by, his presence was indicated by light organ music. His words, as he spoke them, were repeated by someone else such as Hamza, Zayd and Bilal. When a scene called for him to be present, the action was filmed from his point of view. Others in the scene nodded to the unheard dialogue.

Well this movie tears me up, karena perjuangan beliau begitu berat, and jadi malu karena kita yang belum apa2 sudah sering mengeluh. Hiks hiks. Suka sedih notabene in Europe yang freedom for Humanity, tapi in reality sometimes we get racism karena berjilbab, cari mesjid susah, mau ibadah susahnya minta ampun, media selalu beritanya dibesar2in en memojokkan, suka  sedih kalo liat kaya gitu. tapi sebenernya cobaan tsb bukan apa2, dulu Rasulullah Muhammad SAW (PBUH) sampe di timpukin batu, dicemooh, mau dibunuh, dll .. beliau bersabar dan gigih berjuang menyebarkan kebaikan.

(astaghfirullah jadi malu dikit2 ngeluh, semoga kita selalu diberi kekuatan istiqomah dan 

kesabaran, amin. (Ya Rasulullah betapa rindu kami padamu)

Really worth to watch. Show how modesty and simplicity that our Prophet teach to us. 

Don't be afraid to learn and know about Islam that you may have about its beliefs and practice. There is no space for prejudicial judgment in this movie, just brotherly confirmation amongs mankind. May Allah SWT always blessed you all my sister and brother.. Amin
